My name is Mike Jennings, and this is the story of how God led me to Jesus Christ, changed my heart, and showed His faithfulness by providing for my life, including a place to live and the blessing of caring for my cats. My testimony is not about my strength, but about God’s grace, His guidance, and His love working through my weakness.

For much of my life, I did not fully understand what it meant to have a real relationship with God. I knew about Him, and I believed He existed, but I did not truly know Him personally. There was a sense of emptiness in my life that I could not fill with my own efforts. I often felt uncertain about my future and struggled with worry and fear. Even though I tried to find stability and purpose on my own, I could not find lasting peace.

Over time, God began to draw me toward Him. He worked through circumstances, people, and Scripture to open my heart. I began to see that God was not distant, but personal. He was patient with me, even when I was slow to respond. The Bible says in John 6:44 that no one comes to Christ unless the Father draws him, and I believe God was doing exactly that in my life. He was calling me, step by step, toward His Son.

As I learned more about Jesus Christ, I began to understand that He died for my sins and rose again so that I could have forgiveness and eternal life. I realized that salvation was not something I could earn—it was a gift of grace. This truth humbled me. I saw that I needed Christ, not just as a teacher, but as my Savior and Lord. I came to a point where I put my faith and trust in Him, believing that He died for me personally and that through Him I could be made new.

When I accepted Christ, something inside me changed. It was not that all my problems disappeared, but I had a new sense of peace and hope. I knew that I was not alone anymore. God was with me, guiding me, strengthening me, and teaching me to trust Him. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. I began to experience that newness in my own life.

One of the greatest ways God showed His faithfulness to me was by providing a place for me to live. There were times when I felt uncertain about my housing and my future. I did not know how things would work out. But God opened doors in ways I could not have planned myself. He provided stability and a place where I could live safely. This reminded me of His promise in Matthew 6:26, where Jesus said that if God cares for the birds of the air, He will certainly care for us. God proved that He is a provider.

Not only did God provide a home for me, but He also made it possible for me to keep and care for my cats. They are an important part of my life, and having them with me has been a comfort and a blessing. I see this as another example of God’s kindness. He cares not only about our biggest needs, but also about the smaller details that matter to our hearts. His provision showed me that He understands me completely and loves me personally.

Through these experiences, my faith has grown stronger. I have learned that God is faithful, even when life feels uncertain. He does not abandon His people. He leads, provides, and sustains. Sometimes His timing is different from what we expect, but His timing is always perfect. He teaches us to trust Him one step at a time.

God has also taught me to rely on Him daily. My relationship with Christ continues to grow through prayer, reading Scripture, and trusting His guidance. I know that I am not saved because of anything I have done, but because of what Jesus Christ has done for me. This gives me confidence and peace, knowing that my life is in His hands.

Looking back, I can see how God was working in my life even before I fully recognized Him. He was guiding me, protecting me, and leading me toward Christ. He provided for my physical needs, including my home, and He provided for my spiritual need through salvation in Jesus. His grace has been the foundation of my life.

My testimony is a reminder that God is real, that He cares, and that He is faithful. He leads people to Christ, He changes hearts, and He provides for His children. I am grateful for His love, His mercy, and His provision. My life is not perfect, but I have hope because I know that God is with me.

Today, I continue to trust Him with my future. I know that whatever comes, He will guide me. He has already shown His faithfulness in leading me to Christ and providing a place for me to live. I believe He will continue to lead me, strengthen me, and use my life for His purpose.
